@System
I can definitely see your point but bruteforce is usually the most passive way to steal passwords from someone. Ofcourse you could send the victim a trojan with a keylogger embedded to it but that could easily be picked up by an AV. Bruteforcing is great if you have no access to your victims computer whatsoever. But it does require that you have a lot of time on your hands. I wouldn't call it complete bullcrap, but it does take its time.
With the right dictionary, and some luck, you can get the password in just a few days without the victim ever knowing what happened. But maybe Facebook just isn't the best place to use bruteforce as it would be easier to just go straight to the source: Their e-mail.
So basically, the bruteforce method can be very usefull. But if you want to hack Facebook, you might want to use an other method.

I say that its total bullshit, it is just not possible to hack facebook accounts without installing a keylogger or trojan onto the victims PC. I think the ebst way to hack them is to hack into the victims email, if you know the victim quite well you could use the password recovery on their email accounts to get a reset password, from there you'll have access to all of the person's subscribed services (Facebook, Twitter etc.). All you have to do now is to request a password reset for the person's Facebook account, a reset password will be sent to their email. There we go! Its quite straight forward really if you think about it!
