Indonesian hacker Hacked Tuscon Police Department Website

An Indonesian man who goes by the handle Hmei7 hacked to Tuscon Police Department Website by executing Sql injection which gave him access to the media section of the department site. He changed all the titles of the media releases to “Hmei7 has touched your soul” .

A quick search suggests that the city isn’t the first group to be blessed by the web defacer. Indeed, he’s also touched the souls of people in Okaloosa County, Florida.

Tucson police officials were alerted to the hack since two weeks ago, after a website visitor spotted the messages. They took the site down immediately and only managed to bring it back up in the last 24 hours.

SATE (Security Advisory Team) , which is formed by some Indonesian Hackers and Security Experts has released their web www.friendsterbugs.co.nr since the last 1st september and should be closed on the last 1st october 2007. But in fact, it’s still opening til now. This project is Official and Allowed by the administrator of Friendster.com, one of the former of SATE (which is also the former of HACKINGFORTE) named Th0r also said that he had contacted Friendster to allow his team to do some penetration testing to their server. By the way , this is an OPEN PROJECT , means any people can join this project and post their newest HACK against Friendster on the project’s website.

If you feel that u can help the project , you can post your hack to their email : fsreport@hackingforte.org , with the subject : “Exploit and Bug Report for Friendster.com” . All types of Hacking method are allowed (xss, html injection , sql injection , rfi , lfi , csrf , social engineering , etc) . I, myself , has discovered that Friendster.com ’s testimonial box WAS vulnerable to html injection , in this case “iframe” tag , which can lead the victim to a scam page or another evil thing . hehe but it’s already patched now It’s time for all of you to find another Friendster.com ’s vulnerabilities!

Over 533,065 liveconnector.com ’s user Accounts HACKED!

Liveconnector.com , is the greatest social networking site in Indonesia. Just like Friendster.com , there are bunch of security holes founded on the server itself. The vulnerability of liveconnector.com was exploited by k1tk4t (the former of indonesian newhack technology) on the last September 15th . The vulnerability founded on this site was an advanced SQL INJECTION , which will allow you to read all the UNENCRYPTED users’s password data. The attacker of this site also said that the vulnerability will also allow you to do a root privilliged MYSQL database action , like INTO OUTFILE , DUMP database , and more.

I think SQL INJECTION has recently become a favorite method of hacking among Indonesian Hackers , after they got bored with REMOTE FILE INCLUSION (just in my opinion) . Liveconnector.com ’s has been patched within 10 minutes after the attacker made contact with the admin. More details about the hack , can be found here.
